Zebra - 'A Dazzling Community' - 1min. of inspiration from God's creation

The collective name for lions is a pride the collective name for giraffe is a journey and for zebra it is a dazzle This is fabulously appropriate for zebra. When standing together all these crisscrossing lines of black and white seems endless and becomes dazzling to the eye. This becomes a safety measure for the herd as it is difficult for a predator to focus on an individual When lions hunt a dazzle of zebra they will storm the herd with hopes that a zebra may become separated. An individual becomes easier for the lions to focus on. Followers of Christ who live in community are like a dazzle that Satan wants to desperately break apart. In the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 4 verse 12 "A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated but two can stand back to back and conquer Three or even better for a triple braided cord is not easily broken" When we share life in a community of believers we become like a dazzle of zebra so when the enemy attacks we are able to stand stronger together.
