'Come on. Be a chicken!'

There is a bird that lives in the Arctic called the Rock Ptarmigan and is affectionately also known as the snow chicken. It is a master of disguise and changes color to fit the seasons. This allows him to be seen from miles away unfortunately predators are also able to see this and he may become a next meal Jesus did not blend into the crowd he stood out and became a beacon of hope to those around him and teaches us to be like a lamp mentioned in Mathew 5:25 "No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house." Using Christ centered words and actions we have a chance to stand out in a world that sometimes feels barren and hostile and light the way for someone to be attracted to a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
