Emperor Penguin 'Extreme Huddles'

Each year Emperor Penguins make their way to Antarctica one of the coldest places on the planet to hatch their chicks. These penguins cooperate to keep warm in -76 degree F conditions. They aren't selfish either as they often swap positions to allow penguins on the fringes of the icy huddle to enjoy the warmth of a toasty interior. As followers of Christ we should huddle together as a community around Jesus, who should be the centre of all we say and do and who provides solace for all those who follow Him Just as the penguins welcome other penguins to the centre we too may need to step out of our comfort zone for others to hear the good news written in John 14:6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. Invite someone today to Church, community group, Bible study or perhaps for a cup of coffee and let them know they are loved beyond belief A gentle word of invitation to follow Jesus may be life changing for someone to experience the warmth and freedom of God's unconditional grace and love through the death and resurrection of Christ Jesus.
